"transzendieren (nirvatadhvam)" Rig Veda X.19.1
- Positive Trends
- Successes
- Flops
As a result of the official launch of the Global Good News website on 12 January 2004, both the press and the public can now enjoy inspiring, uplifting news and will begin to realize that good news is even more newsworthy than bad news.
What Is a Positive Trend?
As total Natural Law is enlivened and the collective consciousness of the world rises, evolutionary trends will naturally emerge in every area of society. This inspiring news of trends that are more supportive to life is a clear indication of the rise of what Maharishi Mahesh Yogi calls the 'Dawn of the Age of Enlightenment'—a time of peace and happiness dawning in the world.
What Is a Success?
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has designed life-supporting programmes for every area of society. These programmes are successful and fulfilling because they are based on Natural Law.
What Is a Flop?
There is a growing awareness in the world that many features of the current approach in every area are actually life damaging. Even these 'flops', describing the failure of current systems, are good news in the sense that they highlight the need for more intelligent, life-supporting systems.
www.GlobalGoodNews.com first inspired by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in December 2003, going live for the first time in February 2004 has reached virtually every corner of the world. Since its launch, there have been more than 3,283,000 visits to the site from over 200 countries, covering 9,600 major cities of the world. It was Maharishi's wish that the entire world family have the opportunity to read the good news from around the world, to have that 'golden vision to see only right things'.
As reported in BBC News, a study published in Nature Neuroscience suggests that the brain is very good at processing good news. Scientists at University College London said about 80 per cent of people were optimists, even if they would not label themselves as such. Optimism seems to be good for your health, they said.
